Scenarios

Use case pages

Legal & client-facing drafts

Stress-test memos, agreements, and client-facing drafts for inconsistencies and missing details before partner review or filing prep.

Structured disagreement in the Proof Report—not a substitute for legal advice.

Your review: Partners still decide what ships; privilege and filing rules stay yours.

Board & executive documents

Catch inconsistent metrics, tone drift, and weak transitions across long memos, board packs, or customer-facing PDFs before delivery.

A second set of eyes with an issue ledger you can reconcile quickly.

Your review: Executives and comms leads still own tone, politics, and final numbers.

Agreements before circulation

Surface ambiguous obligations, risky phrasing, and cross references before you circulate a redline or enter signing prep.

Pairs with locks for sensitive clauses and exhibits.

Your review: Counterparties and counsel still negotiate final language.

Long documents

Version-aware, block-aware review so the Document Check focuses where routing sends it—not endless scroll.

For long documents where attention spans are the bottleneck before submission.

Your review: Schedule a second pass for voice and stakeholder alignment.

Education & academic proofreading

Landing page for students, writing centers, and faculty: high-confidence document review, responsible AI revision, and formatting-aware outputs—not ghostwriting.

Primary education hub—use cases, integrity language, and FAQs in one place.

Your review: Institutions set policy; Recensa supports proofreading and revision coaching.

Academic papers

Clarity and consistency checks when your institution allows tooling—integrity constraints first; not a bypass for supervision.

Voice preservation and citation hygiene with receipts you can audit.

Your review: Venue rules, authorship, and integrity policies remain your responsibility.

Choosing for a teamMethodology and feature modes to map QC gates.

Read methodology for how each run behaves end to end, then map gates to Proof Report mode vs Apply Fixes.

Frequently asked questions

Can Recensa review a contract before I sign it?

Yes — Recensa can flag inconsistencies, risky or unclear language, and mismatches worth reviewing in a contract. It is not legal advice, and you should rely on qualified counsel for legal judgment.

Can it review an NDA, MSA, lease, or other agreement?

Yes — as finished documents Recensa can run an assurance pass on NDAs, MSAs, leases, vendor agreements, and similar files. The same non-advice limits apply.

Can it review a proposal or SOW before sending?

Yes — for consistency, missing sections, and—with supporting files on Pro—alignment to a referenced SOW or brief you attach.

What business documents can it review?

Finished DOCX or PDF files such as proposals, SOWs, board memos, client packets, vendor or procurement documents, and compliance packets.

Can it find missing information?

It can flag likely gaps and mismatches—for example, exhibits referenced but not present. You confirm whether each flag is material.

Can it check consistency across a document?

Yes — including names, dates, defined terms, amounts, and cross-references within the document.

Run a Document Check
